Active Surface Agents are used very widely throughout industry where it is necessary or desirable to improve contact between polar and non-polar media such as between oil and water or between water and some solids. Magna has researched and developed Viscopro SF (Gelling Agent) and Viscopro FT (Fuel Treatment).
Viscopro SF
is the
gelling agent and surfactant that can be used to create smooth cream and gel products.
Currently Magna produces Grime Buster, a waterless hand cleaner cream and
Grease Off, a waterless hand cleaner gel.
Other products include: Medicated Cream, Hair Gel, Leather Cleaner &
Conditioner and Wood Stain Gel. Viscopro
SF can be used to transform many products that are currently in
liquid form into a gel. The advantage of
Viscopro SF
is that there's no special process or equipment
and no heat required when blending. This ensures very stable chemical
mixtures.
Viscopro FT is a
proprietary formulated surfactant. It is a clear viscous liquid,
offering a broad range of properties. It is used as an emulsifier,
coupling agent, detergent, wetting agent, anti-foaming agent and a
combustion enhancer. Because of its versatility, Viscopro FT finds application in
numerous different
industries and in a multitude of products including: fuel treatment,
sludge dispersant, combustion catalyst, fluidity enhancer (for heavy fuel
oil), metal working fluids and etc.
